Events organised by the Joint Regatta Sailing Committee.
The Regatta sailing events start with the Passage Race from Torbay to Dartmouth. This is followed by 4 days of racing in Start bay for IRC, PY yachts, J80s, Sportsboats and Keelboats. Dinghy racing will be up-river.
Races are organised under the Burgee of the Royal Dart and Dartmouth Yacht Clubs. Sailing headquarters are the Royal Dart Yacht Club on the opposite side of the river at Kingswear. Racing takes place mainly in Start Bay and attracts entries from all over the country. Over 200 craft of different sizes, from Yachts to Dinghies compete in over 15 events, with thousands of spectators - the prize-giving taking place on the Sunday, alternating between the two yacht clubs.
